Ferix is homeworld of the ferals, the latest members of the confederation. This planet is first explored on the second level where you have to rescue Brutus from the outcasts.
Enviroment[]
The enviroment is seen as lush and teeming with life, with plenty of ambient animal sounds. The majority of the world is tropical, with extensive jungle and swamp areas. The growth of plant life far exceed that of Earth, with massive trees that the feral people hollow out to live inside.
Culture[]
The Ferals are seen to be primitive people, with a tribal, clan based society. Living in trees, the reptilian inhabitants have limited technology, the most advanced of which that is seen in the game seems to be the feral cutter, their primary weapon. They are described by commander Bratton as noble savages, because if a member of their group commits a crime they are exiled. Once exiled a feral becomes an outcast that would scavange for food, apparently just waiting for death.
